D2N2 Skills Boot Camps

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses that aim to help prospective employees develop sector-specific skills to fast-track them into work with a local employer.

As part of the Department for Education’s £2.5 billion ‘National Skills Fund’, courses in in digital, green skills, construction, transport, and more are available at Levels 2, 3, 4 and above.

Nottingham City Libraries

Nottinghamshire Business & IP Centre offer a package of free business support, including workshops, webinars, and the ‘Fit for Business’ scheme. Support is available to start-up business owners, entrepreneurs, and inventors across Nottinghamshire.

Inspire - Learning Support and IT recruitment

Inspire offer free staff development in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The training can be accredited or non-accredited and tailored to your need. To register your interest go to Inspire’s online form

Inspire are also looking to work with local IT businesses to help them recruit freshly qualified new employees in Coding or User Experience & User Interface. Complete Inspire’s online form to register your interest.

Government support

Search the gov.uk business support page for free government business support to train new employees or upskill current staff. This includes T-Level incentives and Skills Boot Camps on a variety of subjects such as Digital, Green Skills and HGV driver training.
