Tritax Park
The scheme will deliver high-quality logistics and industrial space on land north of Newark, creating a major new warehousing and distribution hub in the heart of the East Midlands. The development has attracted significant investment from Tritax Big Box, with investment increasing from £120 million to £250 million and the scheme doubling in size from one million to two million sq ft.
A total of 397,000 sq ft of space is currently available for occupation, with a further 970,000 sq ft proposed as part of Phase 2. Located just 0.5 miles from the A46/A1 interchange, the site offers excellent connectivity across the UK, with direct links to the A1, M1, M11, M18 and M62. Newark Northgate station is also nearby, providing fast rail connections to London, Leeds and Newcastle.
The development is expected to support more than 1,000 permanent jobs, helping to drive regeneration and economic growth across Newark and Sherwood. Supported by a strong local skills base, including training provided through Newark College and the wider Lincoln College Group, the scheme will provide employers with access to a pipeline of talent in engineering, digital, automation and logistics. Phase 2 will also include a 40-acre country park, delivering environmental benefits alongside commercial growth.
