EMCCA Skills Bootcamps

EMCCA (East Midlands Combined County Authority) Skills Bootcamps are flexible, employer-led training programmes of up to 16 weeks. These programmes help people develop in-demand skills and progress into new jobs or career opportunities.

Available to adults aged 19 and over, the courses are designed around local employer needs and are fully funded for eligible learners.

Businesses can use Skills Bootcamps to recruit job-ready candidates or upskill existing employees to address skills gaps and support growth. Employers contributing towards training for current staff benefit from significant government funding, making it a cost-effective way to develop their workforce.

Nottingham City Libraries

Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire (BIPC) offer a package of free business support, including workshops, webinars, and the ‘Fit for Business’ scheme. Support is available to start-up business owners, entrepreneurs, and inventors across Nottinghamshire.

Government support

Find free government business support - GOV.UK to train new employees or upskill current staff.

This includes T-Level incentives - GOV.UK and skills boot camps GOV.UK on a variety of subjects such as digital and green skills, as well as HGV driver training.
